The APC Team Centre Extranet. This is a private members' website for the Australian Paralympic Committee.

The website is used as a central information store bringing together the Head Coach, team coaches, athletes and their familles and friends throughout Australia. The website displays a newsletter, events calendar and latest results which keeps all members up to date.

Athletes enter their profile which coaches use to generate training programs for their athletes. The athletes can then view and print their training programs, enter details in their training log, and submit race results for other athletes and coaches to view.

The website incorporates a members' forum where coaches and athletes discuss methods for improving performance, diet and other sporting topics. The website operates from a large online database and all content, the forum, athlete and coach interaction is managed by the Head Coach using a simple administration system .

This is not just a website, it is powerful software to improve communication and performance throughout the Paralympic team.

The website shows the latest news, upcoming events , latest results, history, Olympics information, training details, diet, recent photos, important links and a contact page allowing all fans to ask questions or email best wishes .

Toto-Calcio Italian Soccer Tipping

Challenge

Create a complete eBusiness system where new members join and interact in the forum and tipping competition while easily managing all results and content.

Solution

The Toto-Calcio tipping competition website. This is a public and private members' website for Sports Tipper Pty Ltd. The website hosts a tipping competition for the Serie A Italian Soccer League.

Visitors to the website can view the latest news, results, celebrity tips, tipping rules, tell a friend email feature and a multitude of forum topics discussing Italian, Australian and world soccer.

Visitors can join and are given access to the members area where they can modify their details, place tips, view their ranking and uniquely view other members' tips after the games are closed.

The entire website content, results and forum is managed using a simple but powerful administration system. The administrators simply enter the scores for each round and the website administration system calculates the results for the several hundred members including bonus tips, wildcards and jackpot winners.

All members payment information is managed by the system including an automated email system that generates receipts and reminds members to enter their tips each week.

This website is a unique eBusiness and online community that accepts new members, allows them to place tips and interact with each other in the forum which is all easily managed by the administrators.
